This shingled barnhouse is furnished in a country contemporary style with its original hand-hewn beams, an open balcony overlooking the living room, and a wooden spiral staircase.

Our barnhouse is designed around the hand-hewn beams in their original placement from former barn days. One beam, however, which was once used for calf tethering, was moved to provide the balcony railing which overlooks our cathedral living room. The balcony features a hanging basket chair with skylight above . . . a cozy place to relax quietly or read your favorite book.
