Located on a mountain plateau surrounding Adams Reservoir on VT Rt. 9 approximately 11 miles east of Bennington. The Green Mountain National Forest with its many recreational opportunities surrounds the park. The campground has 103 sites including 20 lean-tos. There is a small beach and picnic area as well as rowboats, canoes, and kayaks available for rent. Several hiking trails including a 2.7-mile trail around the lake. Naturalist programs presented throughout the summer. 2 playgrounds are within a short walking distance of all campsites. Bennington provides the closest services in the area, such as grocery stores, laundromats, restaurants, etc. Nearby attractions are the Bennington Museum, Bennington Battle Monument, Bennington Potters, Adams Farm, North River Winery and others.
